Step 1: Pre-Sort
The easiest way to get started is to sort your clothes at home into 3 piles:
Recycle, Donate and Consign
Recycle: Stained and damaged shoes and clothing can be taken to the Okotoks Eco Centre for textile recycling
Donate: We can't accept everything. if you have clothes not quite right to consign but still with lots of life consider donating them.
Consign: Earn big with those $50 pants they only wore once, or the winter jacket they grew out of before winter was done. You've got the good, we want to sell them for you!
Step 2: Wash
We only accept clean items so be sure to clean up, wipe down or wash anything that could use a refresh. Please avoid scented items where possible (some families are scent-sitive or have sensitive skin)
Step 3: Pack it up
Do up buttons, snaps and zippers and bring in for drop off. Don't forget outerwear and shoes, zip 'em and tie 'em up!
Step 4: Signed, Sealed, Delivered
Review Banana Roo's consignor agreement, sign and date.
Drop off maximum 2 boxes or bins of clothing, outerwear, shoes, hats, and sunglasses. Sizes accepted: Preemie - Size 12 and all maternity sizes
Step 5: Decide
Do you want to donate any items Banana Roo does not accept or would you like to pick them up? You will have 48 hours to pick up once Banana Roo has finished reviewing your items. (Don't worry, we'll contact you)
Step 6: Earn
Consignors earn 30% of the sale price towards in-store credit, this value can be used at any time in store, in fact, Banana Roo will give you an extra 10% off when you use your credit in-store
Consignors wanting cash back can request this once their account reaches a minimum value of $20. This will be paid out via e-transfer.
